What is Modern Jive? Modern jive is a partnered dance which is relaxed and easy to learn and merges a mix of different styles; it has been referred to as being a fusion of dance styles. It can be danced to most music from the 1940s to modern day tracks.

Come on your own, as a couple or with friends. Everyone is welcome, it’s so easy to learn you’ll be amazed.

When? Every Wednesday evening 8-11pm. "Closed 16th May - 1 week only".

Where? This is a brand new venue located at the Sherfield Park Community Centre 
(just North of Chineham / Basingstoke on the A33). It boasts a superb wooden dance floor, ample well lit parking and all mod-cons which those who’ve been have been raving about.

What happens on the night? We have a format which caters for all levels of dancers from absolute beginners to the advanced.

But I haven’t danced before; I’ve no partner; what should I wear? – Don’t worry we all were beginners once and our FAQ page will answer your questions. If not just give me a call or send a message.
